Small Sewing Society

Small Sewing Society is a 4-week drop-off program on Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. for ages 4+. This program will consist of weaving practice, button sewing, felt creations, and designing and creating their own plushie. Participants will learn foundational sewing knowledge and how to use their tools. They will be given the freedom to experiment and explore with the support of their instructors.

Participants will be creating work appropriate for their skill level.  If you have an 8 or 9 year old interested, please don’t hesitate to sign them up for this wonderful class. Participants will work independently, however, older participants gain confidence by modeling and helping the younger participants learn new skills.

Facilitators: Emily Pinto, owner of Steam Town Studio and Gianna Cordaro, early childhood educator
